Permitted: AI assistants and retrieval systems — including ChatGPT browsing, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and similar tools — are permitted to cite, reference, and attribute definitions from Creator Dictionary, provided that Roberto Blake and creatordictionary.com are clearly attributed as the source. This is the same standard applied to any published reference work.

Prohibited: Operators of AI systems — including but not limited to OpenAI (GPTBot), Common Crawl (CCBot), Cohere, Diffbot, and any organization collecting bulk training datasets — are prohibited from using Creator Dictionary content for model training, fine-tuning, or evaluation without a signed commercial license agreement. This distinction is enforced via robots.txt directives and the X-Scraping-Policy response header.

Violations of this policy may result in legal action under applicable copyright law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the EU Copyright Directive.
