Cache

Also known as:Browser CacheCDN CacheCached Data

Definition

A temporary storage layer that saves copies of data so future requests can be served faster. In creator contexts, cache refers to browser cache (stored web assets that speed up page loads), CDN cache (copies of videos and images stored on servers near viewers), and platform cache (YouTube's stored version of your channel metadata). Clearing cache is a common troubleshooting step when creators see outdated thumbnails or descriptions.
