Channel Trailer

Also known as:Channel Introduction VideoWelcome Video

Definition

A short video that plays automatically for non-subscribers when they visit a YouTube channel page. The channel trailer is your channel's elevator pitch — it should communicate who you are, what your channel is about, and why someone should subscribe, all within 60–90 seconds. A strong channel trailer is one of the highest-leverage pieces of content you can create because it is shown to every new visitor who has not yet subscribed. It should be updated regularly to reflect your current content direction.
