Short for collaboration — a piece of content created jointly by two or more creators, typically to cross-pollinate audiences. Collabs are one of the most effective organic growth strategies available to creators because they introduce your content to an already-engaged audience that trusts the creator you are collaborating with. The most successful collabs happen between creators with complementary (not competing) audiences and similar production quality. A collab should feel natural to both audiences, not like a forced promotional exchange.
