Definition
A clause in a brand partnership agreement that restricts a content creator from working with competing brands within a specified category or time period. Exclusivity is one of the four components of Roberto Blake's DEAL Framework and significantly affects the pricing of a brand deal — creators should charge a premium for exclusivity as it limits their ability to work with other brands in the same space.
