Definition
A camera that uses an electronic viewfinder instead of a mirror-based optical viewfinder, resulting in a more compact body with equivalent or superior image quality to DSLRs. Mirrorless cameras have become the dominant choice for video-focused creators due to their superior autofocus systems, in-body image stabilization, and 4K video capabilities. Popular mirrorless systems for creators include Sony Alpha, Fujifilm X, and Canon EOS R series.
