A video that a YouTube creator manually features at the top of their channel page for non-subscribers, functioning as a channel trailer alternative. Unlike the official channel trailer (which autoplays), a pinned video is simply the first video displayed in the featured section. Creators use pinned videos to highlight their best-performing content, a recent milestone video, or a piece of content that best represents their channel's value proposition to new visitors.
