Definition
The Subscriber Feed on YouTube (accessed via the Subscriptions tab) displays the most recent uploads from channels a user has subscribed to, in reverse chronological order. Unlike the homepage, which is algorithmically curated, the Subscriber Feed shows content from all subscribed channels regardless of performance. However, YouTube has reduced the prominence of the Subscriptions tab over time in favor of the algorithm-driven homepage, meaning many subscribers never check their feed. For creators, this reinforces the importance of strong algorithmic performance rather than relying on subscriber loyalty alone for views.
