Tri-brid Channel

Roberto Blake Original

Definition

A Roberto Blake coined term for a YouTube channel that successfully combines all three primary channel types: Entertainer/Influencer/Media, Lifestyle Niche/Influencer/DTC, and Educator/Thought Leader/Venture. In Roberto Blake's 7 Types of Channels framework, the Tri-brid sits at the center of the three-circle Venn diagram where all types overlap. A Tri-brid Channel can monetize through the full spectrum of creator revenue streams: ad revenue, sponsorships, donations, merchandise, memberships, UGC, physical products, affiliate links, courses, coaching, cohorts, and SaaS. This is the most complex and highest-potential channel type but also the most demanding to execute consistently.
