Definition
A brand partnership arrangement in which a creator grants a brand permission to run paid advertising directly through the creator's social media account, allowing the brand to leverage the creator's audience, credibility, and follower trust for targeted ad campaigns. Whitelisting gives brands access to the creator's handle and organic reach while the creator retains ownership of their account. It is a significant and often underpriced revenue opportunity for creators with strong engagement metrics.
